Faktorem, který rozhoduje, na kterou osu se budou vibrace přenášet více či méně je především konstrukce samotného modelu. Zpravidla nejvíce vibrací se ve vrtulníku šíří v ose Y (křidélek), doporučujeme však během každého měření kontrolovat všechny osy. Pokud je dbáno na dobrý stav modelu, neměly by vibrace překročit hodnotu 50% na žádné z os. Pokud již teploměr zobrazuje více než 90%, pak jsou vibrace extrémní a s velkou pravděpodobností je model ve velmi vážném stavu. Nedoporučuje se v takovém případě vůbec model používat dokud nejsou závady odstraněny. Hrozí především bezpečnostní riziko, neboť i kvalitně zajištěné části a spoje v takovém prostředí mohou kdykoli selhat.
