Wave Studio is PC software for allowing Spirit Wave radio to behave as wireless a System Joystick. Connection is established through your existing WiFi network. Soon this software will allow also other features related with Wave radio. For example Log Viewing at your computer.
1 Installation
At the current moment Wave Studio software is available only for Windows platform, however it will be available also for Linux and other Operating Systems.
It is required to install ViGEm BUS driver which is bundled together with Wave Studio software. For other platforms we recommend Sim Over BT option that works with almost all devices.
2 Running
After Launching at your computer it is possible to Launch it at the Wave radio. Go to Applications - Simulator - Sim over WiFi and press Launch button. If Wave radio is connected at the same network as computer and has reliable connection it will connect within few miliseconds without any configuration.
Windows will create new Gaming Device called XBox 360 Controller for the best compatibility. It will show up as a classic Joystick device which mean it can be used with any Joystick-compatible app or game.
From then you can launch your favorite RC simulator and enjoy flying.
