The Spirit unit allows you to assign a stabilization or rescue mode using the gyro gain channel. 0 - 100% gain in the transmitter is always heading lock gyro mode and with -100 – 0% gain, you are able to activate stabilization or rescue mode.
+
How to setup the Rescue or Stabilisation is described in the [[Stabi mode|Stabi mode]] page.
−
This means that instead of normal (rate) mode, it will stay in heading hold gyro mode, plus rescue/stabilization is activated.
+
−

+
−
This behavior can be also observed in the Diagnostic tab.
