Spirit FBL可提供模型穩定或救援模式。穩定功能一旦被激活，系統將會將模型恢復到水平位置，而無需飛行員的任何輸入，這可以用作“紓緩”(Bail-out)功能嘗試新的動作，並可以幫助學習過程。
