1 Podpora modulu GeoLink

Spirit GeoLink module is supported by all Spirit units. In order to utilize all the functions it is necessary to enable the support in the Spirit Settings - General tab first. After enabling, save the settings and re-power the model.

2 Kalibrace kompasu

Každý modul GeoLink byl před odesláním zkalibrován a otestován. Pro správné fungovaní je pouze nezbytné, aby uživatel provedl kalibraci kompasu. Kompas je klíčový pro zjištění úhlu, v jakém je model natočen vůči zemi. Kompas snímá magnetické pole země a díky tomu může ziskat potřebné údaje kdykoli během letu. Naneštěstí se magnetické pole liší v závislosti na dané oblasti. Pokud bude model létat mimo Českou republiku, je nezbytné provést novou kalibraci kompasu. Modul je továrně zkalibrován pro oblast České republiky.

2.1 Prověření

Natočte model nebo pouze GeoLink na SEVER jak nejpřesněji je to možné tak, že směr letu bude znázorňovat šipku kompasu. Nejlépe porovnávejte s analogovým kompasem.

Je-li model nasměrován na Sever, měl by být úhel 90 +/- 4°. Zobrazená hodnota by měla být v toleranci. Pokud se objeví větší odchylka, proveďte kalibraci kompasu znovu.

Info.png Doporučujeme nevyužívat chytré zařízení pro porovnání úhlu kompasu. To proto, že tyto zařízení často nemají kompas zkalibrován vůbec. Analogový kompas je proto nejvhodnější pro srovnávací test.

Např. pokud se aktivuje režim Koaxiál nebo Záchranný režim, je tímto aktivována i povolená funkce GeoLink a rozšiřuje tak dané funkce. Doporučujeme nastavit parametr Stabi/Funkce na režim Koaxiál pro funkce Bezpečná zóna, Návrat domů a Držení pozice. We recommend to use this way only when you are out of a free channels.

3.1.2 Dedicated GeoLink channel [Recommended]

More strightforward way is to assign a GeoLink feature to any free channel in the General/Channels window. In the right part of the Spirit Settings software select which feature you would like to assign. (for example F: GeoLink Return to Home). Then select appropriate channel which will be used for engaging. You can use same channel for multiple features at the same time.

4 GeoLink functions

4.1 Bezpečná zóna

This feature allows to restrict flying area so that when flying over the model will return. Pilot can set a virtual fence in which the model is allowed to fly.

4.2 Výškové omezení

If you are worried you will forget to engage the Rescue mode in time, this feature is what you are looking for.

4.3 Návrat domů

Whenever you will loose orientation, this function is the best option. You have to only engage the function with your transmitter and wait until the model returns to a defined position.

4.4 Auto Landing

Whenever you want to land with the model you can use this feature to do so automatically.

4.5 Držení pozice

If you are learning the basics this feature can help you significantly in maintaining required spot. If you are not strong in hovering the feature will do the job for you.

If pilot is unable to maintain altitude the feature can control collective pitch automatically for him.

5 Zisk korekce

Funkce modulu GeoLink provádí určité pohyby modelu pro dosažení požadované pozice. Tyto pohyby jsou malé korekce, které se odvíjí od vlastnosti každého modelu. Pro velmi agilní modely mohou být korekce menší, zatímco pro těžké a větší modely může být vhodnější větší korekce. Sníží se tak čas potřebný pro dosažení pozice.

5.1 Zisk pozice

Zisk pozice ovlivňuje funkce Bezpečná zóna, Návrat domů a Držení pozice. Pokud se aktivuje např. funkce Návrat domů a čas potřebný pro návrat na domovskou pozici je příliš dlouhý, je nezbytné zvýšit zisk pozice. Příliš vysoký zisk má za následek příliš viditelné korekce i když samotný model visí na jednom místě.

5.2 Zisk výšky

Zisk výšky ovlivňuje funkce jako je Výškové omezení nebo Držení pozice. Pokud model osciluje po aktivaci těchto funkcí, je nezbytné snížit Zisk výšky, dokud oscilace neustane. Doporučuje se nastavovat parametr v bezvětří. Příliš vysoký zisk způsobí znatelnější oscilace. Výchozí hodnoty jsou vhodné pro začátek.
